Chocolate chip cookies, ca. 25 stk

Dej:

240 g sukker
280 g farin
280 g smør, stuetemperatur
2 store æg
480 g hvedemel
2 tsk bagepulver
1 tsk natron
2 tsk salt
2 tsk vaniljesukker
200 g grofthakket chokolade efter eget valg

Pisk sukker, farin, vaniljesukker og smør sammen til en ensartet masse.
Tilsæt æggene og pisk igen.
Bland mel, bagepulver, natron og salt sammen i en skål og tilsæt blandingen lidt efter lidt, mens der piskes ved lav hastighed. Så snart dejen er samlet, Vendes chokoladen i dejen
Kom dejen på køl min. 1 time og gerne til dagen efter.

Del dejen i 70 g stykker og rul dem til runde kugler, som sættes på en bageplade med bagepapir, 6 på en bageplade.
Bag dem midt i ovnen ved 175 grader i 17 minutter.
Kagerne med bagepapir sættes over på en bagerist og afkøles i ca. 15 minutter.
Læg dem herefter på en bagerist, til de er helt kolde. 

Chocolate Chip Cookies, approx. 25 pieces

Preparation time: 30 minutes + cooling time. Make the crust the day before use.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar (240 g sukker)
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar (280 g farin)
  • 1 1/4 cups butter, room temperature (280 g smør, stuetemperatur)
  • 2 large eggs (2 store æg)
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour (480 g hvedemel)
  • 2 tsp baking powder (2 tsk bagepulver)
  • 1 tsp baking soda (1 tsk natron)
  • 2 tsp salt (2 tsk salt)
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar (2 tsk vaniljesukker)
  • 7 oz coarsely chopped chocolate of your choice (200 g grofthakket chokolade efter eget valg)

Instructions:

  1. Beat together the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  2. Add the eggs and beat again.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the batter while beating on low speed. As soon as the dough is combined, fold in the chocolate.
  4. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour, preferably until the next day.
  5. Divide the dough into 2.5 oz (70 g) pieces and roll them into round balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, 6 per sheet.
  6. Bake in the middle of the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 17 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cookies with the parchment paper to a cooling rack and let them cool for about 15 minutes.
  8. Then place them directly on a cooling rack until completely cold.
